Anxiety is a growing issue in society, especially among young people. The terms anxious and being nervous are often used interchangeably, and it is pretty common to hear someone say that he is feeling anxious when faced with a situation that makes them uncomfortable. Normal anxiety levels represent our body alarm system, which improves people's attention and problem-solving, motivates work towards goal, and does not negatively interfere with daily functioning. Anxiety disorders are the most prevalent psychiatric conditions; up to 33.7% of people suffer from an anxiety disorder during their lifetime. Anxiety disorders are the most prevalent psychiatric conditions; up to 33.7% of people suffer from an anxiety disorder during their lifetime.  Among the fewest drugs discovered are those belonging to the class of anxiolytics. Although some drug targets for anxiety disorders are established, it is hard to modify and selectively choose the active principle for those targets. Thus, the ethno medical approach to treating anxiety disorders remains one of the most prevalent ways for (self)managing the symptoms. Melissa officinalis L. (lemon balm) has been extensively used as an ethnomedicinal remedy for the treatment of different psyche-related symptoms, especially dose related to restlessness. According to studies, more than 40% of patients in Serbia suffering from different non-psychotic disorders use different herbal products for the treatment of their symptoms. One of the most frequently used plant species was reported to be Melissa officinalis.

Chronic pain is an unfortunate reality that many people have to deal with on a daily basis. It’s estimated that more than 100 million Americans are burdened by pain, and a good majority of them report that their pain severely impacts their quality of life.

A survey known as the Voices of the Chronic Pain found that, of people suffering from chronic pain, 60% experience “breakthrough” (i.e. very intense) pain every day, 77% feel depressed, 70% have difficulty concentrating, 74% have low energy levels, and 86% have difficulty sleeping.

And perhaps the saddest finding of all was that 51% of these people feel helpless to control their pain.

This data makes it abundantly clear that aches and pains are not just a minor inconvenience—not just “a part of growing older”—but rather a significant problem that deeply affects the lives of those suffering from it.

If you or a loved one can relate to these statistics, know this: You don’t have to feel helpless. There are plenty of steps you can take to alleviate your pain, quickly, safely, and naturally.

The decisions you make every day influence your personal health. Whether you decide to have that donut laden with trans fat and sugar or choose to run on the treadmill for 30 minutes ultimately affects your long-term health. The more good choices we make each day the better our health and the lower our risk for disease. But what if your decisions today affected not only your health but the health of your offspring for generations to come. As weird as this may sound, the field of epigenetics suggests this may be something we should consider as we make our daily choices.

To anyone who has ever had a cough, it is a common perception that nighttime brings on the worst of any cough.  Especially as  adults, a cough can last longer than it should because we don’t get proper sleep and enough rest to allow our bodies to heal.  Getting to sleep, and staying asleep, can make all the difference in how quickly we return to health.  Try taking ImmuPro capsules at least 30 minutes before bed to help relax your body and support your natural immune system, in addition to the other oils you’re taking for your cough and for sleep.  Lavender and RC may be applied to the chest and back as well.
